Come. Come Home.
Come for a festival or come for a day trip and dinner. Come to fish in our lakes, picnic in our parks, and step into the beauty and history that make up the village of Fayette, Missouri.
We invite you to follow the gently rolling hills and curving byways of central Missouri to the county seat of Howard County. Let the town whisper to you of bygone days, of its founding in 1823, of its Civil War battle and WWII V-12 program. Walk the stone walls of the historic Courthouse Square with its nostalgic bandstand and tall, sheltering trees.
Just north of the square, meander through the picturesque grounds of Central Methodist University, which celebrated its sesquicentennial in 2004, and like the downtown is a National Historic District.
We have much to offer. Come for the day, or come to stay.
We invite you to come home.
